Witchs Hut silhouette

Witch's Hut in Silhouette mode.

Witch's Hut is unlocked through normal game play when a player reaches level 7.

Players can 'pay to play' Witch's Hut from level 5 onward, where they can choose to pay with crystals (which will need to be bought with real money) to unlock the Picture early, rather than waiting until they reach level 7 and unlock it for free through normal game play.

Witch's Hut was introduced during the Halloween 2013 Update. For the duration of the Halloween challenge, Pumpkin Lanterns were needed in addition to energy points to play Witch's Hut. Pumpkin Lanterns were given as rewards for every successful investigation for every picture, but not for playing puzzles. The Christmas Update (December 2013) removed Pumpkin Lanterns from the game and turned Witch's Hut into a regular picture requiring only energy points to play. From the Diary:

"I managed to open a new magical photo from Richard's collection! 'Witch's Hut' is quite a creepy photo, but inside are lots of different potions and magical items that I hope will be of help."
