This is probably a stupid question, but curiosity is killing me and I can't take it anymore. What exactly do you mean by an "elf"? After reading through the thread, I got the impression that we're not talking about the elf items in the game, but I have no idea what else it could be.

Hi Anon, we used to have some wiki friends with extra collections to help each other get ready for a new event and they were affectionately nicknamed 'elf".  As their supplies have dwindled and with the new desktop awards that have come out with past events to supplement our stockpiles, their assistance has not been as frequently needed.

@Coco Thanks for replying. That sounds really cool. I wouldn't mind helping someone out with a collection or two. Let me know if you know of anyone who needs help. :-)
